My relationship with cameras can be traced all the way back to a little kid who was intrigued by his granddads overflowing camera bag filled with every type of shiny gadget you could dream of. Though it was many years before I ever thought of pursuing photography as a career, my journey down this path all started right there in a little house on the south side of San Antonio. I am fortunate to call the West my home, but whether in my home surroundings or in various other parts of the country and world that I am given the opportunity to explore, I find inspiration and adventure all around. Whatever the subject may be, my creative approach and unique life journey through agriculture and the trades brings a unique perspective to the settings and subjects captured, infusing them with visual richness, captivating moods, and raw authenticity. When I am not behind the camera, I can be found waist deep in one of the West’s many trout streams, wearing out (or more often, getting worn out by) my frisbee-obsessed Border Collie, Rico, navigating through fresh powder, finding new trails to explore with my creative partner and better half, Margo, or basking in the warmth of the great folks that I am proud to call my friends. I am a professional photographer, spirited adventurer, people watcher, and true blue friend to people and dogs …and I hope to meet you down the road!
