Jackie Alpers

Tucson, Arizona based food, drinks, culinary travel, and dining photographer specializing in advertising and editorial food photography both in-studio and on-location. She works as a creative partner with clients worldwide, from concept through publication.

Jackie Alpers has multiple awards from American Photography, the Taste Awards,  the Muse Photography Awards, The Pink Lady Food Photographer of the Year nominee for food portraiture,  International Photography Awards, The London Photography Awards, The Color Awards and The American Advertising Federation’s ADDY awards –  including the 2024 Best in Show for the cover of Tucson Guide Magazine.  Her Unofficial Yellowstone Cookbook is shortlisted for the 2024 Communication Arts Photography Award. It is the only cookbook nominated in the books category.

Alpers has been a professional photo editor for over 25 years, starting her career as the managing photo editor at Swanstock, the premier fine art photography division of Getty Images.  Photography.
